Under 16 Blue 6/102 def Banyule 8/81
A very even batting performance enabled us to make a very competitive total from our 20 overs. Openers Miles Coates (25) and Brayden Neilson (12) set the tone and were followed by Nick Brennan (16), Tom Robinson (17) and Jack Atkinson (15). After a reasonable early wicket Banyule were going well until Will Hewett turned the game in our favour taking 3 quick wickets to finish with 3/13. Brayden Neilson (2/19) also bowled well with Nick Brennan (1/16) and Jack Atkinson (1/10) picking up a wicket each.

Under 16 White 4/109 def Banyule 5/88
A poor start with the bat saw us at 3/16 when Jake Bohan (50) joined opener Harley Jackson (38) who together put on a match winning stand with Jake retiring with a sensational 50 and Harley departing with a very good team score on the board. It was a very steady effort with the ball and in the field restricting Banyule 21 runs short of our total with Harley Jackson (2/12) and Jake Bohan (1/6) continuing their great match with great support from Adam Hillman (1/6) and Liam Hannam (1/9).

Under 12 Blue 7/105 def by Rosebank 3/116
Rosebank batted very well on the night with us only taking 3 wickets in their innings taken by Xavier O’Malley (1/10), Thomas Cleary (1/15) and Lachlan Zinga (1/13). With the bat we a lost a couple of early wickets before some good batting from Max Henderson (21no), Xavier O’Malley (20), Oscar Doyle (13ret) and Flynn Kitchen (11) saw us get close but unfortunately not close enough. Congrats to coach Matt and the boys on a tremendous season.

Under 12 Red 6/73 def by Lower Plenty 3/78
Batting first the boys did well against the top side all year with openers Koby Bellman-Chugg (11ret) and Oscar Clough (20ret) setting the team up well with Campbell Wright (12ret) also doing well in the middle order. Unfortunately, our score wasn’t enough, and despite some good bowling and fielding we were passed in the last over with Oscar Clough (1/8) being our sole wicket taker and us having 2 run outs. Well done to Rodney and the boys on a sensational season.

Under 12 White 6/84 def Banyule 77
A tremendous bowling and fielding display helped bowl Banyule out in the 17th over with Charlie Georgiou (2/6) and Lachie Anderson (2/12) being the pick of the bowlers with Jobe Signorini (1/7) providing great support whilst the other 3 wickets falling to run outs. Our successful run chase was highlighted by a great display from Alfie Rowley (36no) who led the innings at the start and finished it off in style. Alfie had great support from Lachie Anderson (7) and Jobe Signorini (6ret).

Under 13 Girls 6/83 def by Research 6/90
The much improved girls team were beaten in a close match by Research by only 7 runs which was a massive improvement on earlier in the season when beaten both times comfortably. Wickets were spread around with Sienna Buckmaster (1/6), Emelia Jones (1/11), Taya McMaster-Smith (1/3) and Aisha Bohan (1/7) picking up a wicket each. With the bat it was a very even team performances with leading scorers being Taya McMaster-Smith (11), Georgia Hewett (8), Sienna Buckmaster (6), Netanya De Costa (5) and Grace Henderson (5). Congrats to coach Kathryn and the girls on an outstanding first season.
